RMC POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of AHMP is a Non-Profit organization. The Chapter was originally established in October 1992. The Chapter was re-established in 2002 and recognized by the AHMP on June 23rd, 2003.

Officer and Board Member Bios
President - John West, PE CHMM (2010) PMP is a Senior Environmental Engineer with Apex Companies. He has 15 years of environmental experience including government, industry, and environmental consulting. His technical expertise includes Emergency Responses, Phase I and II environmental site assessments and SPCC/FRP compliance.
Vice President -John Brown, CHMM is a Project Geologist for LT Environmental, Inc. managing and implementing large scale remediation projects and Phase II characterization activities, RCRA projects, voluntary cleanups, and brownfields remediation and redevelopment.
Treasurer – Scott Pieratt, CHMM (1996) is a Principal Geologist with Apex Companies. He manages the Pueblo office and is the Corporate Health and Safety Officer for the company. He has 28 years of environmental experience including government, industry, and environmental consulting. His technical expertise includes RCRA hazardous waste and solid waste compliance, petroleum storage tank compliance, Phase I and II environmental site assessments and remediation.
Secretary - Kurt Streeb, (CHMM) is a Senior Project manager at Terrracon Environmental Consultants, INc. Kurts specialties include asbestos, lead, and mold assessment and management, Phase I environmental site assessments and indoor air quality assessment.
Past President -Andrew Umyn CHMM (2014) is a graduate of Rutgers University and is currently Program Manager for Environmental Compliance at Iron Woman Construction and Environmental Services. Inc. Andrew's technical skills include environmental compliance, remediation services, groundwater remediation, Hazardous waste management, and environmental permitting.
Director-At-Large - Heather Barbare, CHMM (2008) has 11 years experience as a chemist in the environmental engineering field. Her technical expertise includes CERCLA/RCRA, data validation and interpretation, vapor intrusion investigation, and chlorinated solvent site investigation and remediation. She organized the first RMC-CHMM community outreach volunteer event with the Thornton household chemical roundup and continued coordination of RMC support for this event in 2013.
Director-At-Large - Chris Krajicek, PG is a graduate of Colorado College and now Project Manager for Quantum Water Consulting. He is a professional geologist with over nine years experience in environmental consulting focusing on groundwater assessment and treatment, brownfields redevelopment, soil and surface water assessments, stormwater and waste water compliance, and marketing.
Director-At-Large -Aaron Montgomery, CHMM holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Safety from the University of Central Oklahoma and has been in the environmental services industry since 2001. He has been a field technician, an industrial hygienist, and a project manager and later he established a national Emergency Response division for an environmental contractor. Mr. Montgomery then utilized this combination of in-the-field and corporate experience to found OURAY Environmental Services (OURAY) in 2011 and established the world’s first truly global emergency response network. OURAY currently conducts hundreds of environmental service activities throughout the globe every year. Mr. Montgomery is also a board member of the Dangerous Goods Advisory Council.
